Tengra Fish is cleaned carefully and served whole. In the southern parts of the Indian subcontinent, this fish is known by the name Etta Koori. Tengra fish is a rich and essntial source of Omega-3 fatty acids and proteins. This high in fibre freshwater fish has a very lean meat with a mild, sweet taste and a firm texture.
